Located at the intersection of Garth Rd. and Browns Gap Turnpike in western Albemarle County, VA. (Street address is 2904 Browns Gap Turnpike, Crozet.)
The White Hall Community Building may be rented for private or community events. Basic rental fee is $200/day ($100/day for WHRC members). A deposit equal to the rental fee is required upon rental, refundable on determination that rental conditions have been met (cleanliness/damage inspection).
The Community Building space consists of an entry foyer, an open dining or assembly hall measuring 20 x 40 feet, and a recently (2017) renovated fully-stocked kitchen with a refrigerator, two new ovens and a dishwasher that may be used by renters. The building has heating and air-conditioning. There are 10 tables and 70 chairs available for renters’ use. (For dining use, a comfortable maximum would be 60 people, 6 to a table.) The foyer has men’s and women’s rooms, and is wheelchair-accessible.
The fireplace is no longer usable for wood fires (for safety reasons, following a chimney inspection), but we make available fuel for a gel log kit that provides some ambiance.
